मायोसिस - Miosis in Hindi

मायोसिस क्या है?

आंख के बीच में मौजूद काले गोले को पुतली कहा जाता है (अंग्रेजी में जिसे "प्यूपिल" कहते हैं; pupil)। इसका आकार एक दिन में कई बार बदलता है। कम रोशनी में यह बड़ा हो जाता है, जबकि तेज रोशनी में यह आंखों को सुरक्षित रखने और रोशनी को कम ग्रहण करने के लिए छोटा हो जाता है।

आंखे की पुतली जब सिकुड़ जाती है, तो इसे मायोसिस कहा जाता है। यदि आपकी आंख की पुतलियां कम रोशनी में बड़ी होने की बजाय छोटी ही रहें तो यह आपकी आंखों का सही तरह से काम ना करने का संकेत होता है। इस स्थिति को "असामान्य मायोसिस" कहा जाता है, और यह आपकी एक या दोनों ही आंखों में हो सकता है।
